Locate a Gravesite at Wadena Cemetery & Calvary Cemetery

With generous support from the Lamson Family Trust and the Howard and Helen McIntire Family, in 2022, the Wadena Cemetery Association & Calvary Cemetery designed and implemented the Wadena Cemetery Burial Locator Project to aid in finding the location of loved ones memorialized on these sacred grounds. In Phase 1 (2022), lane signs were made and a detailed burial locator plat map was designed. These maps correlate with the records on the Find a Grave website.

The site is a subsidiary of Ancestry, and is supported by millions of volunteers who record details about cemeteries and individual memorials for many people buried in those cemeteries. Memorials generally include birth, death, and burial information and may include pictures, biographies, family information, and more.

Wadena Cemetery & Calvary Cemetery Burial Locator Plat Map

The Wadena Cemetery Association & Calvary Cemetery designed and implemented the Wadena Cemetery Burial Locator Project to aid in finding the location of loved ones memorialized on these sacred grounds. In Phase 1 (2022), this detailed burial locator plat map was designed. In Phase 2 (2023), a large panel of the burial locator plat map will be installed in the cemetery. Also as part of Phase 1, lane signs were added at each intersection accompanied by a smaller section panel showing the plots between those specific lanes. We welcome you to explore these detailed modern maps, along with the historical plat maps for both cemeteries.
